There is a Michael Cardew quote that Matt would some times repeat in the pottery and I grew quite fond of it. It said something to the effect of "There are no new forms, just old ones done either well, or poorly." I think that these few pictures is a nice testament to that.

Hello Alex,
I just found your blog- and I love the fact that you're blogging about your apprenticeship experience. I am living in Germany now and doing an apprenticeship here near Rostock, near the Baltic Sea. I love my experience and feel very lucky to be doing what I'm doing right now. Surely you feel the same about what you're doing. I look forward to future posts from you!
