I have come across two new pottery related blogs in the last few days. The first is that of Andrew Stephenson who makes woodfired stoneware in the Asheville area and is also a former Jones Pottery apprentice. Check out Andrew's
blog and see what he is up to....

The second new
blog was started by fellow potter Josh Copus to lead up to and document his and Eric Knoche's newest project called the Carolina Kiln Build. In a matter of weeks the two plan to head up a kiln building extravaganza on Josh's land in Madison county, just north of Asheville. This event is limited in the number of participants so sign up now!

Hey Alex, Thanks for turning us on to the blogs. I heard about Josh's project and saw the blog yesterday.
Western NC is a pretty exciting place to be, wouldn't you say?
;)
Alex,
30 acres and a mule? welcome to the neighborhood! Josh told me yesterday that you're settlin' up in these parts. Kline's right, WNC kicks ass. See ya around.

Kyle...word spreads fast. HA! Its not a done deal yet...I still have to get the house inspected and a few other things but either way I'll be back in the mountains soon. Thanks for the warm welcome back!
In honor of recognizing blogs, I thought I would share with you a foodie.
Alex hearts mud, Em hearts grub.
Actually, I'm not going to lie, a rather magnificent coincidence, for I was headed to your blog to post this link. I just love it when the cosmos cross just for lil ole us.
Also..very exciting to ease drop on the house (?!) and land(?!) back to the west. Let me know when you're moving, I will be there to help!
